Matcha and Green tea

Matcha and Green tea are getting more and more popular for its health benefit and amazing flavour. It contains high in antioxidants which fights against the negative effects of UV radiation, works as anti aging property, and prevents life-thretning illness. A bowl of Matcha tea contains five times more antidioxidants than raw fruits and green veggies. 

Also Matcha and Green tea give you calm and relaxed feeling due to the amino acid L-Theanine. 

Both help digesting system in the body and boost metabolism.

 

What is the difference between Matcha and Green tea. 

- Matcha is powdered "Tencha碾茶" which grow avoiding direct sun light. Tea leaves get steamed and dried then powdered.

 

Green tea is "Sencha煎茶" which grow under sun light. 

Matcha contains more L-Theanine than Green tea as its concentrated. 

 

So both have lots of health benefit BUT it doesn't mean they cure illness and to get the best result, moderate intake is must. Around 3g a day. Just be careful as both contain cafein.
